Deep groove ball production process flow

Tube blank processing:

Bearing steel is heated to 1150 ℃ to 1200 ℃ in a heating furnace. This temperature range is to ensure that the material can soften for subsequent perforation operations.

Use a piercing machine to pierce the heated tube blank and make a capillary. The purpose of this step is to create a hollow capillary from the tube blank.

Spheroidization annealing:

Annealing is the process of heating a metal to a certain temperature and then slowly cooling it to change its internal structure and make it more stable.

After spheroidizing annealing, the hardness range of the capillary is HRB88-94. HRB is a Rockwell hardness scale, which represents the appropriate hardness and flexibility of the annealed capillary.

Hot rolling of tube billets:

The annealed capillary is sent into a heating furnace for secondary homogenization to ensure that it maintains appropriate temperature and toughness during the rolling process.

After secondary homogenization, the capillary tube is rolled into the final bearing steel product through a series of operations such as reducing diameter and wall thickness. These operations are aimed at changing the shape and size of the capillary to meet the final usage requirements.

Pipe blank shaping and cutting:

Raw pipes (unprocessed pipes) are first shaped by a sizing machine. This process ensures the precise size and stable shape of the pipe. Then, after straightening and cutting, the pipe is cut into a specific length kit.

Manufacturing of deep groove ball bearings:

Deep groove ball bearings are a common type of bearing used to support rotating shafts. The manufacturing process includes multiple steps, such as melting, forging, turning, heat treatment, grinding, etc. of bearing steel. These steps ensure the accuracy and performance of the bearings.

Ring manufacturing and assembly:

The ring is an important part of the bearing, usually made of bearing steel. During the manufacturing process, it may be necessary to go through processes such as turning and grinding to obtain the desired shape and size. During the assembly process, the ring and other bearing components (such as rolling elements, cages, etc.) are assembled together to form a complete bearing.

These steps typically require a high level of professional skills and precise equipment to ensure product quality and performance. Meanwhile, strict quality control is required for each step to ensure the reliability of the final product.
