Deep groove ball bearings are bearing the most common type of bearing that is mainly used for pure radial loads, but also can stand radial load while small axial load. Definition

The basic type of deep groove ball bearing consists of an outer ring, an inner ring, a set of steel balls and a cage. Its simple structure, easy to use, is the most common production, the most widely used type of bearings.  


Structure and properties: 

Deep groove ball bearings are non-separable bearings, which are simple in structure and widely used. In addition to the basic type, there are various types of deep groove ball bearing, such as: deep groove ball bearing with dust cover, deep groove ball bearing with rubber seal ring, deep groove ball bearing with stop groove, full deep groove ball bearing with large load capacity with ball notch. Deep groove ball bearings mainly bear radial load, but also can bear radial load and axial load.  It is especially adaptable to high speed working conditions. When it only bears radial load, the contact Angle is zero. When the deep groove ball bearing has a large radial clearance, it has the performance of angular contact bearing and can bear a large axial load. The friction coefficient of deep groove ball bearing is very small and the limit speed is very high, but it is not suitable to bear heavy load. When a larger radial clearance is selected, the axial bearing capacity is increased and the contact Angle is zero when bearing pure radial force. When axial force is applied, the contact Angle is greater than zero.


Application:It can be used for precision instruments, gearboxes, instruments and meters, electrical machines, household appliances, internal combustion engines, traffic vehicles, agricultural machinery, construction machinery and engineering machinery.

Deep groove ball bearings with a snap ring groove can be located by a snap ring. When installing, they can be fastened in the housing by a snap ring. So when the mounting position is limited, a deep groove ball bearing with a snap ring groove would be the first choice. After a combined design, shields, seals and snap ring groove mentioned above can be provided according to different applications.

The deep groove ball bearing with sealing ring is rubber oil seal, which can effectively prevent the grease from spilling inside the bearing.


Structure and properties

Deep groove ball bearings with sealed have contact seals bearing type RS (one side seal), type 2RS (seal on both sides) and a non-contact seal type RZ (one side seal), type 2RZ (sealed on both sides). The performance, grease and application of bearing with a sealed ring are similar as the bearing with dust cap. However, there is a larger gap between inner rings in the bearing with dust cap; and there is no gap in the bearing with seal, so the sealing effect is good, but the friction increased. bearing with seal ring shall not be cleaned or heated (oil heating shall not be used) over 80℃, and shall maintain its working performance in the range of 30~ 100℃ ambient temperature.

This kind of bearing is used for office equipment, small and medium generators, vehicles, tractors, air conditioners, fans and etc.
